Glad Tidings Church of God in Christ, 703 Robert L. Parks Blvd., Cedartown, hosted its annual “Community Thanksgiving Dinner” Wednesday.

Dinners were served from noon until 2 p.m. A free Thanksgiving dinner was available for anyone in need.

The menu will be turkey, dressing and gravy, green beans, potato salad, cranberry sauce, roll and cake.

By 12:30 p.m. the church had already served 125 meals and had to round up more plates as there was still a line.
