The Rockmart High School Drama Department proudly presents Grease, the beloved movie and musical phenomenon.
Performances will be March 4, 5 and 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rockmart Art Center Theater.
Tickets are $7 in advance for adults, $5 for students in advance; at the door tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students. Tickets can be purchased in advance in the main office of Rockmart High School.
Most people are familiar with the story of Grease as it is one of the most recognized musicals and movies in current culture.
RHS's production includes all of the popular numbers people adore; from “Summer Nights” to “Look at Me, I’m Sandra Dee” and “Greased Lightnin’.”
The high school students have put forth so much time and dedication to the show, which will be evident for audiences to see right from the start.
Elaborate costumes bring back the 1950s vibe as scenes change from the halls of Rydell High School to the famed Burger Palace. The infamous Greased Lightnin’ car also makes an onstage appearance that is sure to impress audiences.
This is definitely a show that should not be missed. The community has six chances to see this version of Grease and everyone is in for a great time.
