Reports: Morning wreck blocks Hwy. 27.

A northbound accident on SR 1, or Highway 27, blocked all lanes for about an hour this morning as crews worked to clear an accident that sent two to the hospital.

The accident occurred near Lewis Rd. and apparently involved at least one vehicle fire. The two vehicles involved blocked traffic for about 60 minutes. Police reopened lanes around 6:45 a.m.
