Myrtle Hunt is the featured artist of the month for January. Hunt began painting because she was using it as therapy to help another. She has been painting for 24 years since her retirement from Southern Bell, and paints landscapes, seascapes, portraits, murals and anything lese she sees.
She is also the owner of Brush Strokes Art Studio, where she paints with her friends. Some of her work is now on display at the Cedartown Welcome Center located in the Depot at 609 Main St.
