Silver Creek man charged with threatening to harm woman, burn down her house

A Silver Creek man was jailed early Tuesday after police say he threatened to burn down a home and shoot the people inside, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Samuel Pledger Cochran, 62, of 122 Tom Bing Road is charged with felony terroristic threats and acts as well as misdemeanor simple battery.

Cochran reportedly struck the victim in the arm and threatened to burn down the home.

He was arrested at 4 a.m. Tuesday and remained in jail this morning.
