To assist in this process, Rockmart High School will be hosting a ninth-grade Yellow Jacket Academy for all incoming freshmen from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4.
During this time, freshmen will be able to get their schedules, tour the school, find their classes, complete necessary paperwork, and rent lockers.
Students will also see presentations displaying many of the extra-curricular activities available at RHS as well as receive information from the guidance office regarding Georgia 411, a free college information source available to students and parents.
