Ann Yarbrough, local award winning artist, paints a mural over the truck bay at the Cedartown Fire Department. When completed, the mural will feature Cedartown’s two previous fire departments, as well as the current, along with the vehicles used in each time period set against a bright blue sky. Yarbrough said that the fire department’s 14X46-foot mural is the largest she has ever painted by herself. She has painted other murals in Polk County, as well as the one on South Main Street with other members of the Art Lover’s League.
