Christopher Ray Aldridge, 44, of 5690 Brown Rd, Powder Springs, is charged with sexual battery of a child under the age of 16 and child molestation.
Aldridge was arrested Wednesday on a warrant by the Polk County Sheriff’s Department, according to jail records.
Records also indicate that Aldridge worked for Aldridge Floor Coverings in Cedartown.
This is the four arrest of local men on similar charges in the past two weeks and the fifth arrest of this year.
The other arrests stemmed from ongoing investigations, particularly that of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Records do not indicate whether Aldridge’s arrest is related to the statewide investigation.
