She said her work is a mini-book with a long title: “C.L.E.A.R. V.I.E.W. - Tips to Powerful Life Transformations.”
McClarity describes the self-published edition as nine steps to achieve powerful life transformations. These include commit, learn, energize, articulate, realize, visualize, initiate, evaluate and win.
“People want change but live in a microwave society,” she said. “They want everything now, but it doesn’t work that way.”
As a teen mother, she accepted the responsibility of rearing her son, got a job and completed high school.
Her dreams of becoming an attorney changed, but she never gave up her desire for a college education. It took 12 years to get a degree in business administration and later her master’s from American University.
In 2004, she started Jay Pearl Tax and Financial Services, LLC in Rockmart. In April 2010, she opened her second business, Tabitha’s Beauty Supply and is now operating McClarity Coaching and Consulting.
Before any of her goals were reached, McClarity said she had to how learn to balance a full time job, school and childcare.
“I learned how to relax and avoided burnout,” she said. “Never wait until you are so tired you don’t enjoy life.”
McClarity emphasized that people often have things in the past that have broken them and make it difficult to dream of the future.
She describes this as a backwards mentality, which affect today’s happiness.
“People often ask me how I remain optimistic and happy,” she said. “Perhaps it is because I consistently release negativity and have a forward looking attitude.”
