Time is quickly running out to nominate a small business or local industry for two awards given by the Polk County Chamber of Commerce.

Nominations for Polk County’s Small Business of the Year Award and Industry of the Year Award are due Thursday, Feb. 28.

According to Tamaka Hudson, the Chamber’s executive director, they have had six small business nominations and nine industry nominations.

“We’ve had a great response, but we can always use more. It’s a great way to recognize great businesses and industries in the county.”
