1. The Cedartown Senior Citizen Nutrition Center located next to Bert Wood Park has activities Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seniors 55 and older may participate in activities. Seniors 60 and older may participate in activities as well as nutritional meals and trips.
2. The Rockmart Library hosts story time for children every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.
3. Kresge Kids and Youth, Anna Kresge United Methodist Chruch, 15 Booger Hollow Road, meet on Wednesdays. Dinner is served at 6 p.m., Bible study is held at 6:30 p.m.
4. Allison and Connie Shaw will once again be collecting donated prom dresses for Polk County students. Anyone with a new or gently used prom dress can donate by contacting Allison Shaw at 678-988-3710 or Connie Shaw at 770-749-1083. Dresses will be collected until Thursday, April 4. The dress giveaway will be Saturday, April 6 at the Cedartown Library Community room from noon to 3 p.m.
