She was a member of West Point Baptist Church.
Mrs. Almaroad was preceded in death by her husband, Orvil Almaroad; daughter, Brenda Almaroad Anderson; brothers, Morris and Ivey Brown and sisters, Bertha Brown Duke and Evelyn Brown Holbrooks.
She is survived by a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. at the K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel with Derek Raulerson officiating.
Burial followed in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home made the local announcement.
