1. The Cedartown Senior Citizen Nutrition Center located next to Bert Wood Park has activities Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seniors 55 and older may participate in activities. Seniors 60 and older may participate in activities as well as nutritional meals and trips.
2. The Rockmart Civic Arts Commission 316 N. Piedmont Ave., Bldg. 300, Rockmart, holds drawing classes on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m. with Instructor Kathy Torres for ages 13 and up. Classes are $12 per session. For more information, call 706-266-7554.
3. The Boys and Girls Club nationwide are benefiting from car donations. Donated cars are auctioned off and funds generated support their many programs. To donate a vehicle, or for more information, call 800-246-0493.
