Mr. Seals Edward “Ed” Jarrell, 86, of Polk County, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013.

He was born on Nov. 29, 1926 in Cedartown, the son of the late Seab Jarrell and Willie Mae Jarrell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Amy Lou Jarrell; daughter, Linda G. Ferguson; two granddaughters and brothers, Ernest and Ralph Jarrell.

He is survived by his sons, Randy E. Jarrell and Danny R. Jarrell; sisters, Mary Pyles, Allyne Skinner and Alta Mae Henry; six; grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service was held on Tuesday Jan. 8 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Livingston officiating.

Interment followed in Northview Cemetery. Full military rites were conducted by Brewster Cleveland Post 86 American Legion Honor Guard.

The following men served as pallbearers: Thomas Ledbetter, Joel Ledbetter, James Rogers, James Gibson, Buddy Robbins, and Greg Livingston.

Flowers are being accepted, however, memorial contributions may be made to First Apostolic Church, 3213 Cave Spring Rd., S.W., Rome Ga. 30161
