He was born on July 28, 1942 in Cedartown.
Mr. Cuzzort was preceded in death by his father, James T. Cuzzort and sisters, Kathleen Lewellen and Margie Woods.
He is survived by his mother, Lila Mae Collins; wife, Brenda Cuzzort; daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda Hawkins and David, Sharon Hutcheson and Alan; son, Ricky Cuzzort; step-sons and daughters-in-law, Jeremy Welchel and Vicki, Jarrod Welchel and Monika; sister, Vera Ramey; brother, Denny Cuzzort; several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended relatives.
The funeral arrangements were conducted on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 3 p.m. in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating.
Interment followed in the Polk Memory Gardens. The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Robi Ramey, Justin Ramey, Joey Cuzzort, Chris Hawkins, Eric Bennett, Paul Haney, and Denny Cuzzort. Honorary pallbearers are Jonathan Stitt, Mr. Pachel, John Mann, Wesley Bell, Ricky Lankford, John Bailey, Gene Littlefield, Justin Bullard (Spanky) and all the “airport bums”.
The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
