She was born on Sept. 8, 1922 in Cedartown, the daughter of the late Virgil Green and Mammie Shadrick Green.
Mrs. Gann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thurman Gann and son, Gayland Thurman Gann.
She is survived by daughters, Sherryl Gann O’Donnell, Karen Gann Wells and Barbara Annette Gann; sons, Kenneth Ray Gann, Dennis Joe Gann and Darryl Thomas Gann; sister, Betty Green Drosakis; 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Vines officiating.
Interment followed Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The following men will serve as pallbearers: Tony Summerville, Donny Hilliard, Matt Gann, Scott Gann, Brian Gann, and Mark Benefield.
Honorary pallbearers were Phillip Gann, Keith Brannon, and Michael Gann.
The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
