A fugitive wanted in Mississippi was extradited back on Wednesday, March 18, by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

According to sheriff’s officials, 39-year-old Lance Sidney Redding had been housed in the Sixth Street Polk County Detention Center for a probation violation in Atlanta.

The local detention center is one of many places Atlanta pays to have violators housed, officials said.

Polk County got the warrant from Mississippi stating Redding was wanted there on a probation violation, so he was sent back to Mississippi.
