A light pole fell next to Ed's Cleaners on Main Street around 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

The Cedartown Fire Department worked to clean up broken glass and check for damage. No injuries or other damage were reported. The pole likely fell due to the wind, firefighters said.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for parts of northwest Georgia, including Polk County with winds between 15 and 25 mph and gusts of up to 40 mph.
