CMS cheerleaders win competition

The competition cheerleading squad at Cedartown Middle School won their third first place trophy on Oct. 13 at Carrollton’s Cheer Classic Competition. Cedartown has competed in three competitions this season and took first place each time.

Members of the squad this season are eighth graders Caitlyn Coalson, Ava Tillman, Halee Blackmon, Maddie Allred, Payton McElwee, Skylar Rogers, Merissa Boling, Emilee Pilgrim, Haley Holder, Megan White, Catherine Roberson, Haley Blackmon, and Jordan Denton. The seventh graders are Chloe Lee, Lauren Lindsey, Laura-Ashley Tillery, Lizzie Lee, Khristyle Walton, Baylee Davenport, Makayla Longshore and Ashley Westmoreland.

The coach is Kim Allred.
