He was born in Polk County, on June 2, 1949 the son of the late Sharon Gore and Myrtle Virginia Pope Gore.
Mr. Gore had lived all of his life in Polk County and was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was a certified lab technician employed by Floyd Medical Center for over 20 years and was working in the Cedartown Floyd Medical Center Urgent Care Center.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Gore, Rockmart to whom he was married on April 21, 2007; three children: Ty Gore, Cedartown, Jody Sanderson and husband Tony, Calhoun and Elizabeth Anderson and husband Stephen, Rockmart. Six grandchildren also survive.
In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Gore was cremated and no formal services will be held.
The Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
