The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Georgia will be hosting their 6th annual Sporting Clays Tournament at the Orvis Shooting Range at Barnsley Gardens Resort on Oct. 25, 2012.

“We look forward to this event every year. The Orvis Shooting Range is both fun and challenging, and is a unique way to support the mission of the Boys & Girls Club,” stated J.R. Davis, executive director of the Boys & Girls Clubs.

In addition to the shoot, there is a $10 raffle for a Mossberg 935 Magnum auto loading shotgun and a $100 shopping card at Country Sportsman. Team sponsorships range from $800 to $2,500 and all proceeds support the Boys & Girls Clubs.

Jarrett Shadday, a member of the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs and shoot organizer noted, “For sports enthusiasts, this is a great way to come out and have a fun, relaxing afternoon while also helping a worthwhile organization. Last year, we had participants from Rome, Birmingham, Atlanta and surrounding counties.”
