She was born Feb. 8, 1926 in Cedartown, the daughter of the late Early Rogers, Sr. and Shirley Crocker Rogers.
She was retired from the Chrysler Corp. in Huntsville, Ala.
Surviving are daughter, Iris Elaine Spencer and sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Amos Surrett; grandson, Spencer Potter, several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Spencer was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hueston J. Spencer; sisters, Mary Rogers Hill, Helen Rogers Shiflett; brother, Early Rogers, Jr.
The graveside service was conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Leon Allen officiating. Interment was in Friendship Cemetery.
The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
