William Austin, the author of the recent book “The Cedartown High School Bulldogs: The history of a Georgia football tradition” is in Cedartown Friday to sign autographs.

Austin was at Merle Norman on Main Street from 1-3 p.m. signing his book. Tonight, Austin will be at the merchandise tent at Cedartown Memorial Stadium during the Cedartown/Pepperell football game to sign his book. Anyone purchasing the book will receive a free autograph. The game starts at 7:30 p.m.

“I wanted to do something for the school,” Austin said. “I wanted to give something back to the team. These things should never be forgotten.”
