Home Depot of Cedartown visited Westside Elementary School during the July summer school camp session to provide hands-on building activities. The students hammered nails and wood together to create flower boxes, coaster sets, and tool boxes. Home Depot employees, Monica Patterson, Kristen Blankenship and Sheila Mesaros, worked with the students on these activities.

Westside Elementary School appreciates Home Depot taking the time to collaborate with teachers in order to provide their students with this opportunity to have community based instruction on campus. Principal Ray Hammett and the special education teachers at Westside would like to extend a special thank you to Home Depot and its employees.
