The FY 2014 $9 million proposed budget, filled with good news for local residents, has been presented to the Rockmart mayor and city council.
The proposed water/sewer budget totals $4,307,614 and the budget for the general fund is $4,711,554.
The City of Rockmart will conduct a public hearing on the City’s proposed budget at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 30, in the Rockmart Municipal Complex, Administration Building, Council Chambers, 316 North Piedmont Avenue. Both written and oral comments on this proposed budget will be accepted.
