The Huddle House, located at 808 West Elm Street, Rockmart, closed on Sunday, May 19, as noted on a sign erected at the site.
Jack and Connie Montford have operated the business for the past four years. They have announced the Cedartown Huddle House, located at 115 East Elm Street, will remain open.
No jobs will be lost, according to the couple. Employees have the option of working at a newly renovated Huddle House, located on Highway 411 in Rome. Additionally, equipment from the Rockmart store will be moved to the Rome location.
