She was born in Paulding County, on Jan. 5, 1976 a daughter of Charles and Judy Ledbetter.
Mrs. Newton had lived all of her life in Paulding County and attended Paulding County High School. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and her animals. Jennie was preceded in death by her father, Charles C. Ledbetter.
Survivors include her husband, Adam Newton, Dallas; son, Joseph Newton, Dallas; mother, Judy Ledbetter, Cartersville; sisters, Jessica Cook, Rockmart, and Traci Sims; brother, Jonathan Ledbetter, Yorkville, Ga.; her mother-in-law and father-in-law and three nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 27 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Durwood Perry officiating.
Interment followed in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery of Dallas
The Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
