She was born on Jan. 30, 1935 in Polk County, the daughter of the late Ed abd Nellie Wright.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, and 1 brother.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Robert Jones; sons and daughter-in-laws, Keith and Anita Jones and Jerome and Joyce Jones; three sisters and two brothers brothers. A number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
The graveside funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 2 p.m. at Lee’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Billy Vines and Rev. Terry Sims officiating.
Jeremy Jones, Deric Jones, Zach Jones, Cory Jones, Chris Austin and Tony Howell served as pallbearers. Dave McKibben, Ricky Robinson and Tom King were honorary pallbearers.
The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
