She was born in Carroll County, on Nov. 5, 1917 a daughter of the late Edward Millard Stitcher and Zora Ellen Melissa Craft Stitcher.
Mrs. Biggers had lived the greater part of her life in Rockmart where she was a former employee of the Goodyear Mill , a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lewis “Luke” Biggers; a granddaughter and by two sisters, Dorothy Lee Morgan and Faye Sigers.
Survivors include her three children: Wayne Biggers, Conroe, Texas, Ellen Cain, Rockmart and Jane Biggers, Rockmart; her sister, Margie Lemming, Calhoun; four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral and interment services were held Saturday, Oct. 20 at 1 p.m. in Northview Cemetery with Rev. Royce Campbell officiating.
Pallbearers included: Neal Cain, Phil Cain, Blake Cain, Matt Cain, Vharles Biggers and Gavin Borders.
The Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
