He was born on April 4, 1937 in Polk County, the son of the late Madison and Evelyn Yarborough Casey.
Mr. Casey is survived by his wife, Barbara Tracey Casey; son, Chad Casey and sisters, Judy Seabolt Farmer and Ann Jameson.
A memorial service was conducted on Friday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home with Dr. David Taylor officiating.
At the conclusion of the memorial service, full military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Brewster Cleveland Post 86 Honor Guard.
Mr. Casey’s remains were cremated in keeping with his wishes.
The family has requested that flowers be omitted; however memorial donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Cedartown, 101 North College Street, Cedartown, GA 30125.
