He was born Aug. 6, 1940 in Peoria, Ill.
Mr. Berry was a veteran of the United States Army and a self-employed floor installer. He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his caregiver, John Jarvis of Aragon and four special friends, Devon Hopkins, Cody Hopkins, Ashley Jarrell and Haley Jarrell.
Memorial graveside services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 12:30 p.m. in the Georgia National Cemetery of Canton with Rev. Pat Jarvis officiating.
The Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
