Known as the Logan Clock, the Main Street landmark was installed in 1988 as a gift to the city from H.C. and Marilyn Sims. The clock was named for, and is in honor of, the late Harley J. Logan and Savannah Brewster Logan.
The clock was struck April 24 by a rental truck and was damaged. The city received an insurance settlement and purchased a replacement clock, which arrived Tuesday. The clock, built by The Verdin Company of Cicinnati, Ohio, now stands on a new pedestal in front of Pirkle's Deli, in the same spot that the orginal clock was located.
