Award-winning Christian group The Talleys -- Debra, Lauren and Roger --  headlined the opening night of the Brent Hilburn Music Festival that benefits Cancer Navigators. A full day of music with 11 bands  resumes today, Sept 29, at noon at The Rock campground in Rockmart.

The Brent Hilburn Music Festival, benefiting Cancer Navigators, kicked off Friday night with Gospel music headlined by The Talleys (shown in photo) and continues today at The Rock campground in Rockmart.

Today has a full day of country, blues and rock music on tap starting at noon and includes Dirt Road South, Clay Broome, Blues Network, Scratch Off John, Kris Anderson and the Would Be Thieves, Black Friday, Isaac Streetman, and Bennie Gray and the Trailer Park Cowboys. Nashville country star Doug Stone is the headliner and takes the stage around 9 p.m.

Tickets are $15. Students get in for $5 and kids under 6 are free with an adult. Those with military ID are admitted free and seniors or 65 are admitted free. Donations for the charity will be accepted.

The Rock is located just off of Highway 278 in Rockmart. As you head toward Dallas, turn right across from Coot's Lake Road onto Hwy 113 and then left on Forsyth Lake Road.
